Most people who visit Karijini National Park stick to the gorges in the north. Fair enough, they're stunning. But there's a quieter side to the park that almost no one talks about, and we reckon it deserves a look.

WHY IT'S WORTH IT:

This is the GPX file and drop pins for an infrequently travelled 4WD track on the southern side of Karijini. It's a half-day drive through country that feels a long way from the main tourist trail. No queues at the lookouts. No convoys kicking up dust in front of you. Just open track, big landscapes, and the kind of quiet you came out here for in the first place.
